Is it April already!!! Holy cow! Where does the time go? On April 5 th we had the Copperstate Mustang Club Rock n’ Roll Pony Show. More than 130 Mustangs dating back to the 60’s all the way to current models were proudly on display. Lots of fun in the sun was had by all here at Berge Ford. Auto Styling had a booth at the event to show off some our super cool accessories! We had some cool Mustangs and Lifted Trucks there for everyone to see. The event was a huge success and we’re looking forward to doing it all again next year!

SYNC is slowly becoming available as a dealer installed accessory and, as of April 2 nd, has been released on some Lincoln Navigator applications. Coming up, this great system will be available for several more Ford vehicles for less than you might expect. Stay tuned for details… Also new from Ford is the Smart Alert System. This system is similar to GM’s OnStar. Smart Alert is a vehicle security and tracking system. Now a Ford owner with the Smart Alert System can set a virtual net around their vehicle and if that vehicle is moved, they will be immediately notified either by cell phone, e-mail, or text message. Notifications are also available if the vehicle travels faster than a pre-set speed limit determined by the owner. The doors of the vehicle can be unlocked remotely and the vehicle can be located in real time. Additionally, a history of where the vehicle has been can be run. This is a great anti-theft tool as the owner and police can track the vehicle regardless of location. Coupled with a Ford alarm system, Ford owners will have an extremely effective method of theft deterrent, detection and recovery.

So what is new in the ever-changing aftermarket accessory industry? Well, SIRIUS satellite radio has a way for those customers looking to purchase a new Ford to extend their 6 months of service at a fraction of the cost. Service packages at 18, 30 and 42 month intervals are available at deep discounts here at Auto Styling. Also, coming in the near future from SIRIUS are entertainment packages including digital satellite television service. We will keep you updated as more information is available from SIRIUS.
